Which customers, which products, through which channels?

We design and implement retail banking offerings along the three need areas of daily banking, save & invest and credit. In Germany and Austria, conceptually and operationally, until the product is in the market.

In brief

Our consulting approach always starts with one question: which products should be offered to which customers through which distribution channels? Everything else follows from the answer — from product design and pricing strategy to the target process. We support every project phase, from concept to go-live.

Current accounts and cards

Development of award-winning current accounts as well as debit and credit cards. Scheme tender from RFI through RFP to an exclusivity agreement, a debit card strategy with clearly improved profitability, implementation of PSD2, fraud prevention and authentication of online transactions.

Digital channels

Launch of a new online banking, new features and sections in the banking app, mobile payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay and MDES, product completion online, offline and by phone, visualisation of the transaction-based CO2 footprint.

Pricing and terms

Pricing strategies in response to legislative changes, price adjustments and changes to terms and conditions, including legally compliant consent processes and cross-channel consent forms.

Deposits and savings

Launch of new savings products, marketing of term and overnight deposits via platforms, volume and interest optimisation, introduction and later abolition of negative-interest custody fees, support during audits by the deposit protection fund.

Securities business

Building a digital securities offering, repricing and restructuring of the product range, WpHG-compliant digitalisation of advisory processes, a managed-accounts offering, technology selection, migration of securities accounts and strategies for avoiding retrocessions.

Lending business

Online instalment loans with time-to-money under 24 hours including digital signature and PSD2 account access, cards with instalment functionality, buy-now-pay-later, digitalisation of mortgage lending including platform connection, Lombard loans, global limits, self-service tools and a new sales front end for SME clients.

How we work

Three steps, no small print

Step 1 · free of charge

Intro call

30 to 45 minutes: you describe your starting position, and we tell you frankly whether we are the right partner and where we see the biggest lever.

Step 2 · compact

Analysis and target picture

We work within your existing structures rather than alongside them. The result is a robust target picture with prioritised measures and an effort estimate.

Step 3 · mandate

Implementation

Design and delivery in one team. We stay in the project until the result is delivered — on request also operationally and in an interim mandate.

Frequently asked

The key questions at a glance.

Do you work conceptually or also operationally?

Both. We support every project phase, from concept through tendering to implementation and go-live. Our strength is a pragmatic, resource-efficient approach that builds on your existing structures.

Which markets do you operate in?

Germany and Austria. We know the supervisory requirements and the distribution landscape of both markets from completed projects.

How large does an organisation need to be for a mandate to make sense?

We work with a small, experienced team and no overhead. That makes even clearly scoped mandates economical — for example resolving a bottleneck in a running project, or a single product initiative.

The next step

A conversation instead of a brochure.

In a free intro call you describe the starting position in your organisation, and we tell you frankly where we see the biggest lever and whether we are the right partner for it.
